    Product Overview

The iQ-Climate Chamber simulates various temperature conditions for camera performance testing. It is currently the only device on the market for testing your camera system in a temperature-controlled environment.

The iQ-Climate Chamber is a bundle that includes the climate chamber and the Universal Camera Mount (UCM), with a temperature range of -40 °C to 120 °C. Temperature test sequences can be programmed directly on the device.

To perform a test, the camera must first be mounted in the device, with the lens pointing through the side window. The test target, located outside of the chamber, should be set up perpendicular to the optical axis.

The iQ-Climate Chamber will benefit nearly all industries that use cameras in temperature-controlled environments. It will be particularly beneficial for testing automotive and security cameras, which must perform at the highest level regardless of weather conditions.

Control software is included with the device, and test sequences can also be generated directly on the device using the touchpad. For analyzing the test results, we recommend using the iQ-Analyzer-X.

The device comes with a rolling cart for easy mobility.

    Use Case

    Typical application area

    Temperature-Controlled Camera Testing

Many industries require that their camera systems perform reliably in outdoor environments, regardless of environmental conditions. This requirement is particularly true for automotive and security systems that are often subjected to harsh weather and extreme temperatures. ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) applications, for example, can experience performance issues due to temperature fluctuations. If these systems falsely interpret a scene, it can lead to dangerous adjustments. The iQ-Climate Chamber provides a solution to test these cameras in a temperature-controlled environment. Simply place the camera in the chamber and set the temperature to vary while testing its performance on various targets.
